The Ariki collection of handcrafted jewelry is a combination of the skill of Ariki’s craftspeople combined with the incredible beauty of the New Zealand Paua shell.  Ariki has been crafting jewelry since 1932.

Ariki only uses the highest grade of Paua shell.  This shell is protected by a quota system and can only be harvested by specified divers who must free dive for their quotas.

Each prepared Paua shell cabochon is mounted in a 22 carat gold plated or Palladium plated setting.  Each piece of jewelry comes in a lovely hinged gift box.  These reasonably priced, elegant pieces make the perfect gift.
